Welcome to Buhongwa College of Health and Allied Sciences (BUCOHAS) for building the bright future you deserve. BUCOHAS is a private College of Health and Allied Sciences registered by NACTE with registration number REG/HAS/208 Our College follows the National Technical Awards (NTA) system under the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) and guidelines from the Ministry of Health Community Development Gender Elderly and Children and The Pharmacy Council. OurCollege ismanaged by experienced Health Professionals who are visionary,passionate and with determination to offer high quality education and practical skills to prepare the graduates to serve the community of Tanzanians and the world in general.

BUCOHAS offers various programmes in Health and Allied Sciences under NTA system including

  • Basic Technician Certificate (1 year)
  • Technician Certificate (2 years)
  • Ordinary Diploma(3 years)

COURSE OFFERED

  • 01Basic Technician Certificate in Pharmaceutical Sciences

    Duration:The duration of the course is one (1) year
    Qualifications: A qualified student to study this one-year course must have completed Ordinary Level of Secondary Education (Form 4) with ‘D’ passes in Chemistry and Biology and any other two ‘D’ from any other subjects (apart from religion)

  • Duration: The duration of the course is two (2) years
    Qualifications: A qualified student to study this two-years course must have completed Ordinary Level of Secondary Education (Form 4) with ‘D’ passes in Chemistry and Biology and any other two ‘D’ from any other subjects (apart from religion)

  • Duration: The duration of the course is three (3) years
    Qualifications: A qualified student to study this three-years course must have completed Ordinary Level of Secondary Education (Form 4) with ‘D’ passes in Chemistry and Biology and any other two ‘D’ from any other subjects (apart from religion)
